Saturday by the water

The proposed resident-hosted lakefront gathering at an Atascocita apartment community opens with a welcoming table, quiet reflection and hospitality, then offers voluntary prayer, a source-based message, and a practical act of neighborly service. Questions and nonparticipation are respected. Venue, time and public registration will be posted only when verified.

What guests may bring

  • Chair or blanket, weather-appropriate clothing, water and personal medication
  • Printed Torah text or notebook if writing is part of your own practice
  • Questions offered in respect for different convictions

What we prepare

  • Clear accessibility and shoreline safety information
  • Water, shade plan, toilets and parking only where available/approved
  • Printed no-phone study materials and privacy-safe hosting
  • Food ingredients and allergens disclosed; kosher/halal certification never assumed

Faith, Shabbat and cameras

Jewish observant participants may avoid cameras, recording, electrical amplification and instrument music on Shabbat. Any future livestream must use a clearly separate opt-in recording zone operated without intruding on the observant gathering. Parents/guardians must authorize identifiable filming of minors. Guests never need a phone or a QR code to take part.

Venue and weather gate

This proposed setting is a private apartment-community lakefront, not a public park. Resident lake access does not authorize an organized gathering or nonresident guests. The Assembly must obtain applicable property-management approval and confirm permitted guest count, visitor entry, parking, restrooms, accessibility, shoreline and storm risks, emergency approach, and restrictions on noise, amplified music, grills, filming, signage, or food. The precise residential address and access instructions will not be published here; they will be shared only through an approved guest process when an event is confirmed.
