Jewish Learning & Heritage

A welcoming, academically careful introduction to Jewish prayer, practice, communities, food and pathways for the curious.

Study with precision and respect

Each prayer lesson is presented in three parallel forms: English meaning, Hebrew spoken through English letters, and Hebrew script. Where communities differ, the lesson names the practice rather than suggesting a single universal text.

Authority boundary: The Assembly is an Abrahamic meeting place, not a synagogue, rabbinical court, or sponsor of a conversion. Jewish voices and competent tradition-bearers must review religious services and advanced course materials before activation.

Our learning charter

  1. Original scripts are never replaced by approximations.
  2. English translations are supplied in clear original educational prose.
  3. Romanized Hebrew is readable, and actual pronunciation may vary among communities.
  4. Differences among rites are noted honestly, and not blended into fabricated rituals.
  5. Conversion information is educational; formal status depends upon recognized community authorities.
